First Day of School....

Well, today was Alex's first day of Pre-K. He is such a big boy and loves going to school so much. I dropped him off at 7:50a and picked him up at 2:30p. They said he did great, I had no doubt that he would.

Funny thing though, when I picked him up he only had one sock on. His teacher met me at the door and told that there was story there! Apparently my kid found the ant pile! The crawled onto his sock, "lots of 'em" (says Alex), so he sat down and took his sock off and left it for the ants to continue playing on! Mrs Brady didn't know it was Alex's sock, so when she was called over to see it, she threw it away! I laughed so hard! Alex said he didn't need a sock covered in ants! I can't blame him. So he had one sock on and one off when I picked him up! He told me all about his day and even got "treasure"! What a first day! I am so proud of him, he says that in a couple of weeks he wants me to drop him off, NOT walk him in! He is so big, I feel so blessed to be his mom!
