Happy Birthday Angel Face...

I can't believe that it has been 4 years since the Lord blessed our lives with Alex. The sweetest blonde haired, blue eyed angel ever placed in a mama's arms. He makes me laugh, he makes me cry, he is such a ray of sunshine to our home. We are so thankful for the blessing that he his. He is going to celebrate with family at one of his favorite places, American Pie. Pizza and cheese dip he says, 2 of his favorites! Happy Birthday to Mommy's Angel Face, may this be a great year!

3 More Days....

Okay, so here we are in the last days before Christmas. Are you finished shopping? Me? No, but I will be this afternoon. I have that last minute gift to buy and then we can relax as the day arrives. Will and Alex are SO excited that it is almost here. I look at them and I remember being that little and all the excitement and anticpation that come with this wonderful time of year. They make me smile and enjoy christmas songs in a whole new way.

I feel so blessed to be where we are in our lives. The new year brings exciting possiblities for our family. Will is going to finish his first grade year and turn 7. WOW, 7 years old! Where did the time go? Alex will finish Pre-K and in only a few days turns 4 years old! I can't belive my baby is almost 4! I look at them and stand in blessed amazement at the mightyness of God.

May your season be blessed and may this new yeat bring about it's own possibilities for you and yours! Merry Christmas!

Party Celebration....

We celebrated Alex's birthday with some of his friends from school and younger cousins. We went to a place in West Little Rock called "Oogles and Googles". It was a great time. He chose a Pirate theme and the kids had a blast. We will celebrate with family on his birthday on the 29th. I can't believe how fast he is growing!

17 Days to Go....

So, we are almost there. In fact, we are in the middle of the hustle and bustle. We are fighting crowds, looking for the perfect gift or gifts as it were. We are planning meals and making family plans. We are decorating our homes, and our lawns, lights on the house, presents wrapped, and the list goes on. But, are we remembering to slow down? I have decided for the next few weeks, I will simply remind you to slow down. It won't hurt. All the things you still need to do, will still get done. You will get all the things you need and the tree will look great. It will all happen, it always does. Remember that, okay?

Take time and be thankful, kiss your kids, kiss your hubby (or boyfriend). Smile and wave at people, be friendly. Remember the reason for the season. Merry Christmas!
