Happy 3rd Birthday!

My baby is turning 3! We had his party at Chuck E Cheese tonight with Axton and their friends from school. They had a blast. A great friend of mine made Alex's birthday cake, it is a Pirate Ship! It was so neat. We are so thankful for the wonderful blessing that Alex is to our lives. I can't believe that almost 3 years ago the Lord gave us such an amazing gift. He is such a funny, smart little boy. He is learning his independence and as funny as it makes him, it makes me feel a bit sad. Something in a mom's heart that knows she is watching the last of her babies grow. Thank you Lord for the amazing little boy you gave to us to raise. Happy Birthday Blondie!!

Memories...

I know what time it is, but this just could not wait. I am so thankful for my wonderful family. I got to take this picture today and it has been a long time since the 5 of us took one together. I am blessed to have a wonderful set of parents and the greatest two sisters around! I love you all and I thank God at the very thought of you!

We enjoyed our Conway Christmas today. It was great to be surrounded by all the kids and the laughter of adults. We had a great time. The little ones even went caroling at the neighbors. It did my Grammy's heart good I know. It was a neat sight to behold. We did all our tradtions, from Chandler reading "Twas the night before Christmas", to Bailey and the bible. The smaller ones sang and quoted scripture. I am proud to say that for about the 25th year, I played Santa. I don't think my age will ever matter, I love playing Santa! I am almost too old to climb under the tree, ALMOST. I know my time will come to pass that on, but not yet. I love this time of year, oh the memories we made.

It's that Time of Year...

My boys made a Gingerbread house today. I happen to know that it is the greatest gingerbread house ever! This is such an exciting time in our lives. The boys are so aware of the sights and sounds of Christmas. They are learning more and more each day about the reason for the season. Alex finds the baby Jesus at every Wal-Mart store and tells everyone who it is! Will is learning so much from his teachers at church and he is retaining all that wonderful knowledge. It is so amazing to watch them enjoy this special time of year.
I hope you and yours are enjoying your time as well. It passes quickly, stop and enjoy.
