Too big...

This morning I took Alex to school just like every Friday since August...but not like any Friday ever before. When we pulled into the school lot he asked me to take him through the drop off line, you know, like the big kids. My heart started to break.... I told him he was too little to drop off, he informed he was not too little, he is 4 years old!! So, I parked, he got out put his back pack on, kissed me and said he would walk in by himself. I started to follow, he turned around and told me to stop, he would see me after school. I stood there as he bounded through the doors and down the hall. He went to the right place, put his back away and started to play. I peeked in, so he couldn't see me, and then left for home.....

I don't have babies anymore, I am not sure I am strong enough to do this...Who knew it would happen so fast?
