Tuesday Fun....

It's Spring Break! We are having a great time so far. Hanging out close to home but spending time with friends and family! We had a great day yesterday with Ike and Axton, we played downtown on a super cool playground! We walked the Junction Bridge and had ice cream in the River Market. We ended our day with a camp out at home and marshmallows in the back yard. Even camped out in the living room. Today we met friends at the school playground and then had McDonalds for lunch. It is a great week for spring break, the weather is beautiful! Here a couple of pictures from the last couple of days. I feel so blessed to get to spend some quality time with the boys!

Sick....

Kind of the story of my house these days! Will started out the week with a sore throat and a fever, went to the doctor, not strep (PRAISE THE LORD), just a cold, it would resolve itself. Of course he had fever most of the day, so he was out of school on Tuesday too. Well, wouldn't ya know it? Alex woke up Wednesday morning burning up! He ran fever off and on on Wednesday but seem to be better by about 3, so we went to church. By the time we got home he as feverish again and feeling really bad! So off to bed hoping he would wake better....Nope, he got up with a fever of 102 and off to the doc we go. He had a headache, stomach-ache and a cough. The doctor said it was the same cold stuff Will had, so treat the symptons. Well, I know he feels bad cause we are missing soccer tonight to rest! Wow, I will be glad when everyone is well and spring is here! Hope your family feels better than mine...LOL

Be Blessed, we still are, it could be so much worse.

Basketball ends and Soccer Begins....

Will played his first season of basketball this year. He is playing for the YMCA here in NLR and we have really enjoyed it. He got a great coach and I think he has learned some basic basketball skills and made some new friends. Last Saturday he scored his first points, and he was so excited. His team has gone undefeated. That always makes for a great time! His last games are this week and I know he will be sad to see it end, but baseball is just around the corner.

We have now entered Spring Soccer Season. Alex is playing and having a blast! Last week he made his first goal, the minute he made it we saw it all come together for him. He decided this was a sport he could play! He ended up making 4 goals in the game. Another game tonight and he made 3 goals! He is really enjoying playing and we LOVE getting to watch him make something of his very own. Baseball starts really soon and we are gearing up for that. For now we are enjoying the end of basketball and the start of soccer and soon we will move into baseball. Man, I love being a mom to boys! We are so blessed and I don't want to take that for granted....
