Big News...

Will lost his first tooth today after school. We got home and he said it felt "really loose" todsay, i reached up to feel and it came out! He cried a little because it bled and he HATES blood. Otherwise he is fine! He also found out today he gets to be the prince in the first grade fairy tale program at his school next month! Big day for my biggest boy. I am a little sad, he seems so big to me today and the baby I once knew is starting to fade. He is such a bright spot in our lives and we are thankful for him. I just wish the years hadn't happened so quickly.... Be Blessed...

Happy Anniversary...

Today is my parents 30th wedding anniversary. To hear the tale, it was cold, snowy and icy on this day 30 years ago. My dad almost didn't make it, his car had trouble and with the kindness of strangers he was set on his way again. The young bride waiting patiently at the church for her young groom to arrive. He did and here we are all 30 years later. 3 daughters, 2 son-in-laws, 4 grandsons, a ton of friends, lots of family and years of trials and triumphs, they made it.

I am so proud of my dad and mom, the road for them as been difficult at times, but they made it, they always do. As they celebrate in Mexico on a cruise ship today, I hope it is all they hoped for, they deserve it! I love you mom and dad, I could not have asked for better!

Been Awhile...

Okay, so I have been a slacker. I feel like we are so busy! We are planning our vacation and everyone is getting excited. We are taking the kids to Disney World over springbreak! We are counting down the days! 5 and a half weeks and we will be leaving!
I worked Monday and Tuesday all day. Which isn't a lot to some, but I am a part timer and usually only work Monday and Wednesday half days. My mother-in-law has been teasing me, I didn't cook Monday or Tuesday night! I don't know how real working moms do it!

Mike and I are home today, it is his day off as well. His back is really bothering him again, so be in prayer for that. We just don't know what to do and I feel so helpless to do anything for him. We have been through this struggle before and it is no fun at all! Keep praying!

The kids are doing well. School is in full swing and they are both loving most of it. Will is excelling and we are so pleased with where he is. We have a conferences next week, but I don't worry about those. Alex is a little mess and he loves school too. He has a best friend and we hear all kinds of stories from him.
